ABOUT US

Macara Stables was founded by Paul Macrae, who has extensive European and American training and is proficient in hunters, jumpers, equitation, and sales.  His riding success began as a junior rider who placed in the top five in the Washington International Horse Show and was interviewed for an article in The Chronicle of the Horse. His experience has developed over the years from such professionals as Emile Hendrix, Aaron Vale, Dennis Murphy, Jay Land, and Graham Fletcher.  Before opening his own facility, he was the head rider and barn manager for International rider David Raposa.
